Argentina Bonarda Syrah • Argentina – 5th largest wine producer globally • Blend of a known variety (Syrah) and something new to RQ program (distinguished or up and coming for excitement) • Bonarda • Medium bodied, “juicy”, refreshing, bright red berry fruit character • Grown in Argentina - 2nd only to Malbec, actually “Douce Noir” and distinct from versions in Italy and California (Charbono) • Brings freshness, red fruit aromas, colour and refreshing acidity to the blend • Syrah • Brings black fruit and spice aromas as well as body to the blend Argentina Bonarda Syrah Plump red plum and blueberry underlined with smoky notes on the palate.

Australian Pinot Noir Shiraz • Unique blend of two well known varieties – better together! • Combination is popular in Australia at the moment - the duo is making a comeback • Pinot Noir • Refreshing acidity, red fruit – cherry, cranberry, red currant, floral – violets, savoury/vegetal and ‘animal’ • Elegant, silky tannins • Aussie Shiraz • Full bodied, ripe style with higher tannin and deeper colour • Combination makes a full bodied, ripe style with some vibrant, fresh character and more approachable, earlier drinking tannins
